Iranian Students are happy for Bush's election. The mullahs are worried. Good.
I don't think the US Army will be marching down the streets of Tehran anytime soon even though Bush has been re-elected. Nor should we since it is far better for a nation to reform itself from within. Iran may be on that course. A lot of Iranians have realized that while their nation may be called a democracy, true power is actually wielded by the unelected oligarchy of the Islamic priesthood. Iran is a young country because of the lingering effects of the Iran-Iraq War. The young people are starting to get serious about these things and the presence of a democratic Iraq with a Shiite majority is bound to be a motivator.
My prayers will be with you Iranians.
